Asociación ConUcrania

Asociación ConUcrania

Spain Madrid

We are an association of volunteers, primarily Ukrainians, who are settled and residing in various parts of Spain (Madrid, Málaga, Barcelona, Valencia, Murcia, Santander, etc.). A common goal unites all of us: to provide information in Spanish about what is happening in Ukraine. Focusing on the most recent events in Ukraine, our work is always based on independent, analytical, and first-hand information, grounded in factual truths and historical context. We do not belong to any political party and operate as a non-profit organization. Among the aims of our association, the following stand out: - To promote cultural exchanges between Spain and Ukraine, fostering knowledge of both nations' languages, literature, geography, history, religion, traditions, and cultures. - To create a welcoming space for dialogue and connection, where differences and diversity enrich relationships, fostering friendship, community, solidarity, and a sense of belonging. - To support and coordinate actions with other immigrant groups and social organizations that work based on principles of solidarity, participation, social justice, and gender equity. - To design and implement social programs and projects that benefit immigrants experiencing high levels of social vulnerability, particularly those from the most disadvantaged sectors or at risk of social exclusion, including children, youth, the elderly, and women. - To raise funds to assist Ukrainian civilians affected by Russian aggression by collaborating with Ukrainian organizations to identify urgent needs and provide basic resources, such as food, medicine, and clothing, ensuring that aid reaches those who need it most.

Goal of Hope: Ukrainian Children in Spain

Goal of Hope: Ukrainian Children in Spain

We have taken the initiative to organize and find funding for a trip to Spain for children who have spent months under Russian military occupation and have witnessed and endured these tragic events. The trip has a sports-related purpose: the children participating are members of a football club called "Legion" from the city of Derhachi. The group consisted of 35 children accompanied by 5-6 guardians authorized by their parents and social services, as well as legal oversight provided by the Embassy of Ukraine in the Kingdom of Spain.
